Institute Director of Operations, Mr Abubaker G. Abubaker presented an Award for Multicultural Education to staff members from Barnhill Primary at this year’s Dundee City Council Focus on Achievement Awards at the Caird Hall.
The school’s “International Week” project was adjudged to have made the most substantial contribution to multicultural education in Dundee. “Barnhill Primary’s project was excellent and the school certainly deserved to win the Multicultural Education Award, which we were delighted to sponsor,” said Mr Abubaker. “Entry standards were high and picking a winner was, as always, a difficult job. We also want to say well done to all who entered.”
