The Institute has appointed Professor Mohamed Branine, currently Professor of International HRM within the Dundee Business School at the University of Abertay, as an Honorary Professor.
A member of the Institute Council, Professor Branine is also Director of Postgraduate Studies and Research at Abertay.
He has written extensively on the subjects of International Human Resource Management and Cross-Cultural Management and is the joint editor of the book “Ageism in Work and Employment.”
He has earned an international reputation and much of his recent research has focused on the cultural issues facing organisations with operations in the Middle East and China.
Professor Branine’s contribution to teaching, course preparation and examining at undergraduate and postgraduate levels as well as supervised research at Masters and Doctoral levels is extensive.
Institute Principal, Professor Malory Nye welcomed the professor’s appointment.
“He is eminently placed to make a significant contribution to the work of the Institute,” said Professor Nye. “Students will benefit from his experience, knowledge and understanding, which have earned him so much respect and admiration in his career. We are extremely pleased that Professor Branine has agreed to accept this appointment.”
